Billing

Billing occurs monthly via electronic transfer, with detailed invoices sent to Principal Investigators. Researchers must provide a valid Fund-Organization-Program (FOP) code prior to scheduling training.

Charges are based on active time logged via the Kiosk; if a user fails to start or stop the Kiosk timer, billing defaults to the full reserved duration in iLab. Uncanceled reservations or no-shows are billed according to facility policy.

Rates

We have worked closely with NDR and RSPA to set user rates that will help cover the significant costs of the instrument while remaining competitive with similar core facilities around our region. All rates are consistent with federal guidelines and university policies and are approved by the Vice President for Research. Expenses are totaled for each instrument and divided by the usage. Internal rates are subsidized by the University. We are also grateful for the recent gift from the Berthiaume family that is helping to subsidize the facility and keep costs to users to a minimum.
