To Open Fall 2026

As part of its mission to support research at the interface of engineering and science, the Bioengineering & Life Sciences Initiative (BELS) hosts a 200kV state-of-the-art Thermo Fisher Glacios 2 cryo-transmission electron microscope in the Notre Dame Cryo-TEM Core Facility. This technology enables Notre Dame users to understand and address complex research problems by imaging biomolecules at unprecedented resolution.
